Newsletter of the FUEN Non-Kin-State Working Group 02/2025
|
Dear NKS member organisations, dear friends!
As the year draws to a close, I would like to send you my warm regards. I hope that, despite full calendars, you were able to find moments to pause and take a breath in recent weeks. For our Working Group, it has been an eventful year with many conversations, new contacts and topics that concern us all, often very concretely at the local level.
In recent months, there have been important decisions and developments within FUEN that are also relevant for the NKS Working Group. At the FUEN Congress in South Tyrol, key personnel decisions were at the centre, while new member organisations were admitted and status changes adopted. In addition, the new FUEN Annual Report was published in time for the Congress, once again making the work of the past twelve months clearly visible, including our own.
In this second newsletter of the year, alongside these points you will also find short updates from our network, ranging from multilingualism in Lusatia to new structures among the North Frisians and insights from South Tyrol that show how differently minority languages can be supported.
I wish you an enjoyable read and thank you for your commitment and the exchange over the past year. |
